Clerk's briefing
How to play
- Five case files land on your desk every day. Everyone gets the same five.
- Read the facts, the exhibits and both sides' arguments, then stamp your verdict: Guilty or Not guilty.
- Once you rule, the case is closed and taken off your stack. No take-backs.
- A new docket arrives at midnight, your local time.
- Every docket you've finished is filed in the archive — the box at the top — and you can reopen any of them. Archive rulings don't change your record.
Real case
Based on a real trial. Names are redacted until you rule. The right answer is what the court actually decided, even when history later disagreed.
Fictional case
Invented for guiltle. Every one hides a decisive clue in the facts or the exhibits. Read carefully.
Civil claim
Somebody is suing, so nobody is guilty of anything. The stamps read Liable or Not liable, and the question is decided on the balance of probabilities rather than beyond reasonable doubt.

This is a game, not legal advice. Real cases are condensed from public reports of the trial; the link on a closed file goes to the full story.
